Right is Bangalore from one of the night clubs on MG Road.
I now have two lizards interested in Agile development practices: both watched me run through the Analysis presentation a million times tonight because I can’t seem to get a handle on the flow. Pheobe seemed to really like the flip-chart paper (don’t tell Deepali because she will freak out if she knew a lizard licked the paper we will be using tomorrow).
I’m going to call the little guy above Jesse Joe because I was listening to Jesse Cook (Havana) and Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros (Mondo Bongo) when I discovered him. Plus, he seems very Spanish to me for some reason.
How’s this session of University going this far, you ask? It’s intense. It’s fast-paced, I’m learning to adapt on the spot, and the students have an incredibly voracious appetite for knowledge. Every day their brains expand to new and exciting places and it’s absolutely fantastic to watch.
I’m exhausted after a couple of days of teaching, facilitation, prep; and, all the issues with trying to get my paper publication-ready. Putting together the talk that goes with it will probably drive me to the next level of insanity; talking to lizards and rubber ducks… I wonder what’s next.
