Jingling bells, prancing horses challenging each other, families and couples being carted around to the sites… horse drawn carriage is by far one of the best and most interesting ways to see Sevilla quickly.
We tried the bus tours, looked at the walking tours, and tried using guides and maps to find sites. However, in a short period of time we saw all the main sites, got indepth history and stories we’d heard nowhere else, and enjoyed a leisurely sun filled trot through the Maria Luisa Park in a carriage.
And for Niña, this was one of the highlights of trip: to get to sit up front with the driver and talk in whispered Spanish as we worked our way through the city.
As an added bonus, our driver took fantastic photos.
Tip: make sure you barter a price before you go for a ride.
