Star Wars is not new to Lego, I know of more than one parent who has shelled out a small fortune to enable their child’s Star Wars Lego building set addiction. However, the Legoland Star Wars Miniland that you find today is rather newish and was recently expanded to show new models, new worlds, and new scenes that move, flash, and make noise.
To make it all of this happen, Legoland employs master builders, electricians, technicians and landscapers to make the models as realistic as possible… and (of course) each scene needs the skill of an expert button pusher to engage the sights and sounds.
As you meander through Star Wars Miniland, you’ll encounter seven scenes from the Star Wars world; six from each one of the movies and a 7th from the Clone Wars TV show. Around these scenes are a gallery, which features 3-foot tall figures from each episode. Periodically you will encounter a life-sized version of some of the more popular characters, like Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and R2-D2.
