Brunch at the Wynn, Las Vegas

On the surface, I felt very much like I’d wandered into Willy Wonka’s garden as I walked through the Wynn in search of the brunch that Time Magazine dubbed one of the top things to do in Vegas [link removed]. Colourful flower balls hung from the ceiling, eclectic flower arrangements lined the walkways, trees were tastefully lit, and you could almost imagine that everything was edible.

On the surface it is very beautiful, however under the covers is what I am most interested in and the Wynn doesn’t disappoint. There’s a great deal of thought and work put into the buffet — more than I saw in other casinos (like the Bellagio).

Food items are labelled as “gluten-free” as appropriate, allergen information is noted, international breakfast foods scattered throughout, and the chefs are more than helpful when you ask questions. Even the handmade candy and delectable treats were as interesting to photograph as they were to eat.

Expecting this buffet to be one of the more expensive, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Wynn was the cheapest! My only wish is that I discovered it earlier.

Note: In 2013 my experience at the Wynn wasn’t so great.
