Domestic Medicine

This comes from the Nova Scotia Sanatorium in Kentville. The sanatorium was initially the place where people went when they had tuberculosis and later became a hospice for those returning soldiers who were injured during World War 1.

One section of the book pictured contains “Advice to Mothers, on the subject of their own health; and of the means of promoting the health, strength, and beauty of their offspring.”
