All were onesies (one speed) and had baskets attacked the back for carrying stuff.<\/p>\n<p>In Calgary, the U of C is the only place that I know of that has a borrow a bike system. It was originally the <em>U-Bike Program<\/em> with it&#8217;s multi-coloured recycled bikes. I&#8217;m thinking the program was abused because it evolved to a bike sign out \/ in library system rather than a ride and park system.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zipcar.com\/\">Zipcar<\/a> community is combined version of a checkout\/borrow system &#8212; except with cars.
