Remember many of the chilli contests\/tricks from the past ([links no longer available]).<\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;m unhappy to announce that those chillies were tame compared to what we ate last night in the TW chilli eating contest. All I can say is Sri Lanka is the only place in the world where I&#8217;ve feared for the survival of my tongue&#8230; and this was a pretty close second. And, I only ate one chilli and chased it with a heck of a lot of curds.<\/p>\n<p>None of us even came close to the current TW record of 12, which is currently held by Ola Bini. Jake was last night&#8217;s winner with 3 (second photo below).<\/p>\n<p><em>(P.S. For once I can&#8217;t be blamed for the Chilli contest. It was Roy who orchestrated it.
