I was the first one up and opted to sit in a coffee shop down the street and read the newspaper. It was pretty quiet, or at least as quiet as Seattle can be.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the day Maya decided to give up her valuable parking space and we all went to the beach. We needed a &#8220;party break&#8221; and just wanted to chill. The beach was surprisingly windy and cold &#8211; not what I was expecting.<\/p>\n<p>After the beach we went for a short hike in one of Seattle&#8217;s beautiful rain forests.
