Oooooh… a unique house with exceptional food, a rumoured ghost, and a bootlegging history… this is my kind of place.<\/p>\n

This interesting little bungalow is also known as the Wiley House, named after Orson Wiley, one of Redmond’s first settlers. All the stones you see in the photo above were collected from the surrounding countryside and added to the house in 1914. It was designated a city landmark in 2007 and converted to a restaurant in 2009 (the same year it was voted Seattle’s best new restaurant).<\/p>\n

Seems people are a bit more allergy conscious in Seattle and this restaurant scored extra points for having a menu that had gluten or dairy free options.<\/p>\n
