Salt Lasse in a Juice Box

This time around I’m getting the full range of lasses; from mango to salt to sweet to rose to things I can’t even describe (a lasse is a yogurt drink). The lasse in a juice box was new and interesting; I haven’t figured out yet if “buttermilk” (which is what the locals call it) is a watered down salt lasse or if it something unique. They taste the same.

I haven’t been offered any bango lasses as of yet. A bango lasse is made with marijuana. When I first joined xyz company and went out for my first team lunch, people kept asking me if I wanted a mango lasse. But with all the accents on the team I kept thinking they were asking if I wanted a bango lasse.

I remember thinking to myself, “wow this company is really super liberal.” And, in return, I think everyone thought I was weird when I kept refusing; so they didn’t stop asking, they kept saying, “come on, you’ve gotta try it… you’ll really like it.” It was awkward until I caught the “m” and started to laugh hysterically.
