This little hotel came to us highly recommended — from multiple sources. And, in a pinch, they were very helpful in finding us a room during (we found out later) one of the busiest festivals in Arcos de la Frontera. This is the kind of place I love to find: a peaceful, uncomplicated, cute little central courtyard, a good location, and friendly helpful staff. It became a welcome respite during days of wandering through noisy streets filled with screaming people.

For Niña it was a place full of mystery. She found many secret doors in unlikely places — and hotel staff that encouraged her to use her imagination and explore. When the exploration was done, she found a big comfy chair where she could sit and read her book for as long as she wanted.

Views of the surrounding scenery are fantastic from the top of the hotel. And, they have a nice breakfast, and if you ask they’ll bring in gluten-free bread.
