If you’re a parent and you happen to find yourself in Greenwood, Nova Scotia with your kids, Roo’s Playhouse in the Greenwood Mall is worth a sojourn.
There’s pretend areas and sporty areas and climbing areas… and places for parents to work (with open internet).
Wouldn’t it be nice if other cities had a mall or two where parents could utilize a babysitting service like Roos ($3 per hour) and go off and do your shopping in peace; or a place where you could sit and do a bit of work using the Mall wireless network (like many other work-from-home-parents that I saw) while your kids played and made a friend or two?
