Lemonade and oysters… I’m not sure I was an average customer given the surprised look I received from the server. However, I was definitely not in the mood for beer and nuts.
Her surprised didn’t last long because the waitress whispered in a very casual way, “the lemonade is goooooodddd”.
The oysters weren’t bad. I’ve definitely had better. And, I think they need to do something about the sauce.
I was told later that if you want good, go fish taco.
Food aside, the location of this particular restaurant is a bit out of the ordinary, which is why I chose it. From the balcony you have a good view of the historic Oakland Cemetery and the comings and goings of interesting people.
In the distance you can see a mishmash of family tombs, civil war graves, and historical monuments. How many restaurants can boast that? I had to check it out.
And, if the weather is ominous, inside has more than enough to Atlanta tchotchke to keep anyone interested.
