Saturday and Sunday were spent on Commercial Street checking out a whole host of stores and vendors. This is more of what I had envisioned as a shopping experience in Bangalore; I think I spent way too much money in one particular dress shop — but I now have a plethora of shiny, beaded, formal Indian clothing that I’ll probably never wear.
The little La Niña is going to be thrilled when I show her all the bangles, baubles, and mirrored boxes that I found for her. I also found one little shop that makes exotic little Rajasthani princess dresses. I’m still working on a size and hoping for a price that doesn’t make my head hurt.
