This cute little bakery has slipped past me on many occasions — both in person and online. However, on this journey we made a point of stopping by their Portobello location for a mouthwatering treat.
The extremely tiny Portobello shop opened in 2004 and has since seen a constant stream of people waiting for one of their amazing cupcakes. To speed things up on Saturdays, you can purchase a cupcake outside on the sidewalk, provided you have cash and pointy elbows.
For those who have an iPhone, you can purchase their cookbook app on iTunes.
It was around this time that we were told that in Europe people/manufacturers don’t put corn product into food like in North America. And, from this point on, it was an eating free-for-all for Niña, who has an allergy to corn.
