My Monday morning commute involves a taxi, plane, train and walk… later in the day, there is a bus. It is a serious test of patience and endurance for the four of us who commute together. All leave or wake-up at 4am PST to get to work by 8:30am PST.
Below are 12 photos from this commute taken for our web team who are putting together a collage of everyone’s daily commute. However, we can send no more than three photos and the problem is: I can’t choose which three to send.
So, I’m asking those of you out there: which photos would you send? Each photo has a number… simply identify three that catch your eye in the comments.
12, 2, and 5. Interesting shots.
Egads! Is that snow on the window? Yes to 12. Good looking coffee.
You betcha. Calgary is getting more than its fair share of snow this week.
Like the lines on 4. Like 2 and 8. Where is #8 taken?
That would be the Waterfront Station: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waterfront_Station_(Vancouver)… also known as Terminus Station. This is the conjunction point of the Expo line, Canada line, Millennium line, the West coast express and seabus. It’s very busy. During rush hour ordered lineups of people patiently wait to get onto the trains. I’ve never seen that happen anywhere else in the world.
I would go for 3,6,11.
The first one which gives a view of the way ahead to work.
The second one which most of us do across the globe while commuting ie read the early morning news papers
And finally there is no morning or start of the week without a coffee 🙂
Regards,
Pramod
I’ll never complain about construction stretching my fifteen minute commute to twenty minutes again. Numbers 1,4,12 for me.
I’m 1,4 and,12 because it shows the segments.
1, 4, and 8 – if you want to show that it can be good.
9, 6, and 12 – if you want to show that it can be bad.
I like the contrast in 12. The window shots show interesting perspective.
9, 11 and 3 for me in that order
I like the people pics,3,6,7.
Looks like 1,4,12 are the favs so far with some coffee and good people thrown in! I’ll send the email off tomorrow so there’s still time to vote. Thanks all you voters!
4, 5, 7
I’ve sent 1,4, and 12. Thank you so much for voting everyone! I’ll post the final link (may be from Tumblr) once it’s out there.
